Best CAM in Los Angeles | Sweet Flower

What’s better than smoking a killer joint of Biscotti? The only answer can be smoking some Double Biscotti. A favorite knockout strain for many veteran smokers, this is one of the new favorites of our staff at CAM HQ, often beating out our employee polls for the favorite flavor of the month.

By now most of us know what dark, heavy footballs biscotti makes, with orange laces that you can see before you get up on the ball. Those tight, dark leaves dark look like purple plates that dot the buds like dragon scales. Biscotti buds look like basketballs for cats.

Just like how orange essence is used in cooking, opening a jar of this is popping the top on essence of Biscotti. The smell from both the jar and buds isn’t some explosive wave, more like when you smell it there’s a deep concentration of the aroma that is powerful without being crazy strong.

After you get it broken down, the flower is gassy with a grape juice smell in there and all that seems to carry over into the dry inhale. Subtle, gassy, and with a little licorice, you have to look into there for the flavor notes but this has such overwhelming biscotti elements that it’s cool to see a spot where it comes quietly into the room.

The flavor takes that dry pull and lets it blossom out like a cactus flower in the desert night. The whole thing reaches out and fills the space along with your senses. It’s smoky and robust and can take your breath away with a big hit so be careful. This strain will give your head a quick change that would rival that of Superman or Spiderman.

We love our Seed Junky crosses and this strain has been building steam since dropping in June of last year. Created by JBeezy and selected by Doja Exclusives, this is part of that sweet, soapy, gassy wave of strains that have taken the scene by storm.

CAM’s version almost looks like Biscotti at first, with dusky hues instead of vibrant purples, and with the sweet, flowery smell of Sherbert, and Jealousy that makes you want to inhale deeply. Popping the seal is like pulling open the dryer. This one has a flavor that sheds the biscotti behind like snakeskin, leaving you with something that’s fruit snacks and flowers.

Ground up for a joint, CAM’s Permanent Marker has a strong blast of fruit before that astringent quality comes in, letting you know how this strain got its name. The dry inhale has that same mix of marker ink and concentrated fruit that, once lit up, ferments that flavor into a gassy mix that lights you right up into the sky. When LA Weekly dropped an article on new heat from the killer cultivators in California, this strain was on the short list of Anna’s new favorites. We know that, like airlines, you have your choice of LCG crosses and we’d like to thank you for flying with CAM.

Cherry Markers grows nugs that are solid as you’d expect from an LCG cross but with more subdued tones that show off dark shiny sugarleaf and dusky green.

Take a whiff from the jar and you get a 90% mix of that Lemon Cherry Gelato but suddenly it meets a brick wall of sinus-ringing marker ink that changes the whole equation. After you get through breaking some up, that whole sweet citrus act drops to show you a whole other side.

The eye-watering Permanent Marker and the Gelato from the LCG make for something that doesn’t get completely rid of the candy sweetness but does manage to transform it into something different than what you’re used to. This transformation comes full circle in the flavor, which catches you off guard at first from how this does manage to pull off the trick of making you think of a fruit-scented marker.

Cherry Markers

Finely ground cannabis flowers rolled ahead of time, commonly known as joints or blunts. More adventurous consumers might experiment with infused pre rolls that contain cannabis concentrates to amplify the flowers’ entourage effects in enhanced flavor and potency.
